On February 12, 2021, pema received an inquiry from Eggersmann GmbH in Waren — an inquiry that laid the foundation for successful cooperation. They were looking for a partner who understood their requirements and supported them with sophisticated solutions.
Eggersmann GmbH is a subsidiary of the internationally active Eggersmann Gruppe GmbH & Co. KG and was looking for an optimization of processes and reliable delivery. Eggersmann's production manager finally turned to pema to find new solutions that guarantee efficiency and reliability.
The documents provided were well structured, but the pema team immediately saw potential for improvement. Together with Eggersmann, the drawings were revised and key optimizations were implemented:
The collaboration began in the midst of the challenges of the corona pandemic. Despite difficult conditions, pema found pragmatic solutions and relied on digital communication channels to make the exchange with Eggersmann smooth.
The success of these initial projects convinced Eggersmann of the quality of the collaboration. At the end of 2022, there was a new opportunity: During a visit to the Waren site, the pema team discovered a control cabinet built into a machine and saw potential for expanding the partnership. Eggersmann provided a sample, and soon pema became active in this area as well.
By successfully delivering goods to the site, pema was also able to generate interest from other Eggersmann locations. The cooperation has already been implemented at another branch, and talks to expand the partnership are promising.
The partnership between pema and Eggersmann shows how technical expertise, flexibility, and a customer-oriented approach can lay the foundation for long-term success. Together, not only were existing challenges solved, but new opportunities were also opened up.
