During a routine weekly meeting, our customer TII-Scheuerle, a renowned manufacturer of heavy-duty transport vehicles, contacted pema with an urgent request. Due to a high order backlog, their electrical workshop had a volume of around 2,500 working hours to be awarded at short notice. Impressed by the flexibility and expertise that pema had already demonstrated several times, TII-Scheuerle asked for support. Without hesitation, pema agreed and offered to manufacture the urgently needed cable harnesses.
After receiving the drawings for 15 cable harnesses, pema immediately carried out a thorough inspection. It quickly became clear that pema had the expertise and capacity required to support TII-Scheuerle in this situation.
After clarifying the framework conditions such as deliveries and conditions, production at pema began immediately. A special “work team” was set up in Romania to produce the cable harnesses independently of regular production. This made it possible to process the order flexibly and quickly.
The close cooperation between pema and TII-Scheuerle was particularly reflected in the uncomplicated and quick clarification of queries arising from the drawings. This efficient communication made a significant contribution to the smooth running of the project.
pema was able to deliver assemblies to TII-Scheuerle on a weekly basis, which proved the company's flexibility and reliability.
At this stage, the order is still a work in progress — however, the smooth cooperation so far and pema's ability to respond quickly and efficiently to TII-Scheuerle's needs give hope for a positive outcome.
